The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate governance. Its vision is an inclusive and sustainable global economy based on its 10 universal principles. The German UN Global Compact network supports companies and organizations in aligning their strategies and activities with sustainability goals and the vision of the UN Global Compact. pervormance has been a member of the initiative since 2013 and stands for responsible and sustainable corporate development.
It is important to us not only to protect people against heat stress but also to secure our future sustainably and to preserve the environment. This begins with us in the company through an open corporate culture and communication policy, flat hierarchies and measures for environmental protection and the advancement of women. We produce exclusively in Germany and Europe because we want to control how our products are made. “This costs a little more but it is worth it to us” says Gabriele Renner, CEO of pervormance international.
That is why we are also committed to the values and principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards and environmental protection as well as against corruption through our involvement in the Global Compact, the initiative of the United Nations under UN Secretary-General António Guterres. We also support the UN’s Women’s Empowerment Principles because we believe that we women can make the world a little better.
